Starting POINT Handgun

This is a beginner handgun course focused on the fundamentals and safety of handgun shooting.  
 
Objectives:
Locking Slide to the Rear
Grip
Stance
Breathing
Trigger Management
Sight Management
Follow Through 
Range Etiquette
 
5 hour course 
 
WHAT TO BRING:

Positive Attitude 
Working handgun (full size 9mm is encouraged)
Minimum of two (2) magazines 
200 rounds of ammunition
Eye & ear protection

Holsters are NOT required for this course; if you choose to bring one, an OWB (outside the waistband) is recommended, a sturdy belt and magazine pouches. If you decide to use a holster you must follow the guidelines….
Holster that specifically fits the gun you’ll be using. For safety reasons soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa Blackhawk, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed.    

ATTIRE:

Range appropriate attire: long pants, closed toe shoes, high collared shirt. Brimmed ball caps recommended but not required. Please no low cut or V neck shirts.  

Handgun In Depth

This is NOT a beginner handgun course, we will be focused on the manipulations of the handgun, shooting positions and applying the fundamentals while adding layers of problem solving.

Holster that specifically fits the gun you’ll be using. For safety reasons soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa Blackhawk, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed.  Shooters choice on how to carry during the course, concealed or open, shooter is welcome to change gear setup throughout the course.

Handgun Presentation

This is NOT a beginner handgun course, an understanding of handgun shooting fundamentals and manipulation is necessary. The primary focus of this course is building a consistent presentation of the handgun from the holster to obtain a solid handgun index.
 
Objectives:
Gear-belts, holsters, clips/loops
Concealment- open and closed front, appendix/strong side carry
Open battle belt presentation
Right Range/Left Range/Up Range (right and left) 
3/6/9 o’clock 
Presentation from Seated

RED DOT HANDGUN

This is NOT a beginner handgun course, an understanding of handgun shooting fundamentals and manipulation is necessary. This course is designed to help the shooter become more confident with red dot application.

Low Light Handgun

This is NOT a beginner handgun course, an understanding of handgun shooting fundamentals and manipulation is necessary. This course is designed to help the shooter become more confident with flashlight  application while engaging with a handgun.

This is a beginner carbine course focused on the fundamentals  of carbine shooting.

WHAT TO BRING:
Positive Attitude 

Working Carbine AR15 style preferably 5.56/.223

Minimum of two (2) magazines 

300 rounds of ammunition 

Magazine Pouch or pockets 

Sling is optional 

Suppressors are welcome 

*Handgun is not needed for this course

Carbine In Depth

This is NOT a beginner carbine course, we will be focused on the manipulations of the carbine, shooting positions while applying the carbine fundamentals.
